time to finish upgrade

thats what i was trying to do but i couldnt upgrade due to the error

1146 Table 'qssuppl1_new.configuration' doesn't exist

that was due to the database using zen_ prefix which i didnt specify when upgrading. it worked except the database was version 1.3.8
then after that i had this error

1253 COLLATION 'latin1_general_ci' is not valid for CHARACTER SET 'utf8'

after banging my head i found out that can be solved here

thanks everyone for all the help

3 days to upgrade database lol, we live on

Re: time to finish upgrade

In each post I read, I keep coming across this "/zc_install" folder, but when I downloaded the new 1.3.9F version there was no "/zc_install" folder. Am I missing something? I am trying to fix my " Your database appears to need patching to a higher level. See Tools->Server Information to review patch levels." error.

Thanks!!

Better get the download again - - as that is part of the distribution

Thanks! I see it there now. Is there an easy way to upgrade? I mean, I have this issue with the database error. I've created a demo site to test on and it still gives me that error after I imported my old database into the newly created one... I'm so confused...

Re: time to finish upgrade

have this issue with the database error.
If you have cpanel account manager - after you import -
There is a "repair database" in cpanel you can try

I don't have cpanel, but I wonder if I shouldn't be including everything when I import my old database into the new one...

Yes, if you are not you must perform a full DB backup then upgrade the DB using zc_install

Nevermind! I have everything running now. All I have to do is re-design my site.
