Categories add small icon and make text bold on it path

Hi all,

Their Categories have a small icon on the left side and when you click any title, the text will be make as bold text...

My web site have sub-categories, how to make like this?? If can't a the icon, I hope can the path of the categories make text bold, so the user can know where he/she is in more easy.

How to make the coding change like that?

I am using 1.3.7
