Figured it out. The offsitepayment.php file itself was encoded in ANSI. I converted the file to UTF-8 w/o BOM using Notepad++ and it works now. smack forehead

Just for "interest" :wacko: I wrote some php that converted all the files back to normal characters, pm me with your email address and I'll send you the fileset.
I'll put it up on Sourceforge later so that someone can use it to update the files and the translation to 1.51.
