help me with main page template

hey guys, how can I make my products on main page closer together and how can I remove add to cart button from main page ?

http://www.carpetstories.com/

also in product listing menu like this link :
http://www.carpetstories.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=88_90

how can I edit the page and change the table view? is there any other way to show the product list? for example linear or columnar view?

Re: help me with main page template

You may need to ask your template designer about the first question.

For the second, http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?main_page=product_contrib_info&products_id=77
