Ozpost & free shipping

Hello I am not sure if this question has been asked before but I couldn't find such question in this forum so I thought I give a try.

My situation is that some items are shipped based on its weight and dimension because it's a box/carton, so it worked very well with ozpost.

However occasionally I want to offer some particular items to be free-shipping. So I also turned on the free shipper module. It worked OK if the customer only bought this free-shipping-item as customer can choose the free option.
However if he/she also bought normal item, then ozpost will still calculate both items for the postage.

So my question is, is there a way that ozpost can ignore free-shipping-item when calculating the postage?

Thanks so much.

At this stage, not without some modification.

Thanks for prompt reply! Your module is amazing!

How about I set free-shipping-item to have 0 weight and 0 dimensions, will this achieve the purpose?

No, setting to '0' will cause the preset default to be used.

Setting them to something very small will probably work OK though (1gm, or 0.001Kg for weight, and 0.01cm x 0.01cm x 0.01cm for the dimensions).
