Really need help badly, under deadline

Hi, This is my first shopping cart ever but I have been doing web design for years, so familiar with code and changing. I want to make some changes to the template I am using zj Silver, you can view my store at qualitytransmissionparts.com/catalog/....I want to get rid of that big white line that is running along the top and be able to customize that area but can't figure out where in the stylesheet to go. I would also like to remove some of the side boxes but can't figure out how to do that either...there is lots more, but I don't want to overwhelm any generous soul out there will to help me. I am under the gun here big time, I have to have this ready to start adding products by Monday morning, 8/16...any and all help will be greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance :blush:

open includes/templates/zj_silver/css/stylesheet.css

find the following declaration and make the highlighted change.

#logoWrapper{width:750px;height:106px;line-height:106px;margin:auto;background-color:#fff;}

Feeling very stupid right now for missing that mistake :oops: Now if someone could just tell me where to find the logo image and tag line so I can edit them, I will be another step closer to victory !! Thanks for the help so far, you are wonderful !! :hug:

Getting closer, got the logo changed and looking the way I want, and removed the large tag line, but now I have this mini tag line subtly hiding behind my top side box on the left...cannot figure out where that is located to remove it...also, where do I go to manage the side boxes and can I remove those labeled sponsors?...thanks again for all the help !! :unsure:

To turn sideboxes on/off - admin>tools>layout boxes controller

OK, I went to the information.php to try to remove the unsubscribe from newsletter option and after I removed it, now my pages are giving me errors, so can someone give me the code to stick back in or tell me where to get another copy of the page. I had to do this in my file manager through my host since for some reason it won't let me ftp download the page (not the first problem I have had with this) and then is there another way to remove that link and any others in there that I don't want? Big thanks !!

You control the unsubscribe link with a switch:
admin/e-mail options

To fix the corrupted information.php file download the zencart files from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/zencart/files/CURRENT_%20Zen%20Cart%201.3.x%20Series/Zen%20Cart%20v1.3.9%20-%20Full%20Release/zen-cart-v1.3.9f-full-fileset-08142010.zip/download

Extract the files to your local hard drive and then upload the fresh file back to your site. You should be using the template override folders for your changes.

There is a mini "Tag line here" peeking out from behind the top left sidebox and I cannot figure out where to remove it from to make it go away...does anyone have any clue how to get rid of it?

Also, what do I need to do to make my sideboxes that I want to show up (featured product, new product, best seller) to show up?

On a side note - please read and search the site 'tutorials' in which you have been pointed to before. In regard the tagline - I see you have made another post regarding 2 problems - which is fine as these are not normal.

In regard to sideboxes/new products etc these questions have been asked lots and lots of times - and the answer is already posted in multiple places in the forum.

Try using the 'search function' or googling: Zencart + (whatever you need to find out) for the new products etc as this will be an important part of developing your zen knowledge.

Have tried the tutorials and searching the forum for the answers I need, but either cannot understand them or the answer is buried in a forum thread of a dozen pages or more and I just don't have time to read through every single one of them to find the single answer I need. Not lazy, I am just wearing a lot of hats here, Office Manager, Bookkeeper, etc. Thanks for the help :blush:
