How to install v1.3.9e on XAMPP - a Help Guide

Hi,

I just finished loading v1.3.9e onto my local - this time I decided to do a step by step guide of the installation to help any newbies to Zen Cart.

Although I'm not an expert, I am getting a lot better and there's ton of experts in the forums here - SO ASK AWAY but SEARCH FIRST

Thanks for these instructions. I did get a bit further towards actually installing the cart on my flash drive but I can't find the php.ini file in the apache bin folder. It's just not there. Do I need an older xampp file to make this work?
