site redirects to page not found even if a php file exists - Ultimate SEO

Hi,

I am the author of Checkout by Amazon plugin for zencart.

one of the merchant uses our plugin and we are getting one problem as described here

the file checkout_by_amazon.php exists in zencart directory. when redirecting from our amazon server after placing the order, the merchant website says page not found.

merchant has ultimate SEO installed.

should i have to worry about URL rewrite? how can i solve this issue?

To trouble shoot - have the merchanty turn off the SEO re-write and see if the problem persists

Hi,

I'm getting the issue of 404 page not found but even with USU turned off it's still a 404 error page.

All the so-called SEO-URL addons have mod-rewrite rules in .htaccess that control whether pages are accessible. If you haven't added special rules for new files you're adding to the site, then those new files will probably be mistreated.

Turn off the addon and delete all your .htaccess rewrite rules to see whether the system can work correctly normally without messing with normal operation.

Thanks, we found the solution which required the help of my hosting company.

Hey Ryan,

The issue you are having is that the shopping card application is passing a full url, something disallowed by default within mod_security (A module that we run to harden our servers.)

I have white-listed that rule for your domain, the shopping cart appears to be acting normally now.
If you have this issue in the future, please email support and ask them to whitelist mod_sec rule 1234234.
