Editing, changing links in Information Sidebox

Using 1.3.9d. No changes or addons, it is as originally installed, other than editing, adding products. I've searched for this specific question with no luck.

I want to change the links listed under the Information sidebox. I've made the initial link name changes:
* Custom Enamels
* Policies
* What We Do
* Contact Us
* Site Map
* Gift Certificate FAQ
* Discount Coupons
* Newsletter Unsubscribe
How do I link these to the appropriate files. They still link to the original shipping, etc. files. I assume the answer is posted but I can't find it. Nor does the Developers Tool Kit find the reference.

I also assume I can remove Gift Certificate and Discount Coupons from an Admin file but I haven't found the right file yet.

Those are all define pages -
Suggest that you create a define page for each if it does not exist
The about us module can be used for reference and includes basic steps to create another define page

All that work just to change the filenames in the link? Wow!

I did find where the Gift Certificate and Discount Coupons can be removed from the list.

You can alter the sidebox text but the address bar will still state the actual page

Thanks for your help. Okay, since I have some questions about the install process of the about_us module, I am jumping to and posting on the appropriate thread:

I posted to the above thread but want to reiterate here.

I installed the about_us module.
I see it listed in the define page status.
I see it listed in the define pages editor.
I do not see it in the information sidebox.
I tried adding it manually to the english.php file with no success.

I went over all the install steps again this morning, adding duplicate files to parallel directories such as default and custom.

Some of the instructions seem ambiguous but I think I resolved my questions.

I backed up as directed before this so I hesitate to make any more changes to other parts until this is working. I also have another module to install but won't attempt it until this is working.

Is there a specific file(s) that adds the piece I am missing so i can focus on that?

While looking for an answer, I just noticed something...

In the Tools-Layout Boxes Controller, the entry

sideboxes/classic/information.php ON LEFT 50 40 ON

the sideboxes/classic/ is in bold red. What does this mean? Could this indication help fix me?

If added to only a specific template via overrides is will be listed as you see - - try enabling it

I already had a "About us" in More Information side box but wanted a fourth item in this side box. Hence, I installed "About_ Us" changing all folders and files from About_us to My_page.
It works.

However, I just wonder why I did it as I now know that the More_information.php already has this feature:

How does that create another define page file?
How can you manage it from the admin?....

That is what all this is about...
create a file for a page named like you want
Add a page that can be edited from the admin
Add a link to it in a side box
Ability to turn on/off from the admin

How could I take this link to make a pop-up window from it. I have a faq module installed and redirecting it to my on line phpMyFAQ, but when you click on it it takes you off site. I need to know how I can open that link into a pop up window. Thanks in advance.
