Where is the catalog folder in 1.3.9f?

Maybe I am missing something, but I cannot find the /Catalog folder in my download of 1.3.9f. What happened to it?

There is no catalog folder in a distribution
Most and recommended install at the root/base of their domain name
One can install in a folder they create and name it catalog, shop or any other name they wish

Re: Where is the catalog folder in 1.3.9f?

Is this possibly from when I originally had Fantastico install Zen Cart (first install was with Fantastico, all upgrades were manually done)? I backed up by files and then deleted the /Catalog folder, which did not do anything. Do you think it is safe to operate without it? I am just a little confused because I have several template override folders in my /Catalog folder.

Re: Where is the catalog folder in 1.3.9f?

I already use OpenCart but i like to keep my options open, so i just uploaded ZenCart to my test server ready to be installed.

I thought i would give it a try, see what its like..... already before i can even get started its not making much sense, the instructions say i should change permissions on files and folders which do not exist, so now i'm stuck.

Am i supposed to use trial and error to get it installed, spend hours messing about until i get the right settings?

And why are those instructions buried in sub-folders on a HTML file?

Not a good start!

Nope, nope. The installation process is pretty straightforward, and I've never even looked at the instructions files.

What files and folders is it telling you to change permissions on, and have you run the installation script yet ?
