specials box not showing on product info page

I've played with the 'layout boxes controller' to get all the right boxes in the right order on the left and right column.

I looks just right on the home page, but when I go to the product listing, the "specials" box seems to disappear.

I can't for the life of my find a setting that controls this... Is there one, or is it something built into the theme? :blink:
