coding the new products title, featured products title, category titles

I am looking to have a background image for my "New Products" title, "Featured Products" title, and "Sub Category" titles on my site, however right now all the coding that controls these is the same "h2centerBoxHeading" is there anyway that I can separate these so I can format the BG image to look right with these titles? Or is there a way to format the BG image to fit correctly with the different lengths of the titles?

I am looking to add something like what you see on this site as "featured Products" http://web.archive.org/web/20080315093630/www.assassinspaintball.com/Default.asp behind my titles.

If I can code this then that would be better.

In a standard template, each of those centerboxes has a unique id, and you can call the h2 under that id to address it individually. A link to see your site live will let us tell you exactly how to word it.

Thank you for chiming in. My site is https://www.mercenarypb.com I started to mess around with the css and code but it made a global change that didn't work for all centerboxes. I appreciate the help!

The "New Products for..." can be addressed by

#whatsnew h2 {}

(Sub)category headings are

h1#indexCategoryHeading {}
