Is this possible with Zen Cart?

Hi everyone,

I've been reading the forums for a short while, as well as reading through the documentation for Zen Cart, and I have been very impressed with the features available and in awe over how customizable everything is.

I'm looking to upgrade my shopping cart from a custom cart that is now years old to Zen Cart, but there are a few things I need to ensure before I can start setting it up.

Can I integrate Sage Pay as my merchant easily enough? I noticed there were no dedicated modules for this, but I have been reading around the forum that people have been contributing towards making this available.

Also is it possible to customize your product page URLs so that they can be:

http ://www.examplesite.com/catagoryname/productname

or is this quite complicated?
This isn't essential, and I found this very hard to do with my current cart, but if Zen offers a simple solution then I will be migrating to Zen straight away!

This is one of the few carts that I have seen that offers such fantastic support as well. If I can use Sage Pay easily...then I'll be sticking around :)

Have you looked at SagePay Form by Nixak in Free Addons?

There are several so-called SEO mods for Zen Cart, though pretty urls don't actually help with SEO any more, just HO (human optimization).

I just had a look at the recommended mod download page, and if it does what it promises then I think that would be fine.

With URL customizations, its not so much for helping with rankings, so to speak, but more that the majority of my keywords are the product names themselves. I prefer having my keywords highlighted in the SERPs including keywords in the URLs, but its not decision clenching.

Any further user experience with Sage Pay would be appreciated, but I think I will start to have a play with Zen tonight

Zen Cart allows custom meta descriptions for each product, and Google at least will use that in the results listing if it is well written. Thus you can have a coherent statement about your product, not just the product name, without even doing url rewriting.
