Adding product to shopping cart from another website

I searched for an answer to this question but just want to confirm my findings. I'm migrating a store from Volusion. I currently have a link on the manufacturers website which allows customers that want to purchase the product go directly to my shopping cart. From what I have read it looks like I will not be able to do that with ZC. If I'm right I will now need to send them to the product page on my website instead. From there they can add the product to the shopping cart and complete the purchase. Is this right?

Thanks for the reply. As far as the creating account, that is only true unless I add the COWOA mod. Once they land on the product page the navigation and function is the same as if they started the shopping at my website. It's just one extra click added from the current flow.
