Template for dummies

Hi everyone,
I have not registered with ZC yet.
I am trying to build a proffesional web and I know that Zen as it.
I have started building one with the site builder that is furnished with the host I'm using, but it looks like crap:oops:.
I'm going to have a template, that is easy to use and free, as I am on a disability pension, which is very limited to spare cash:bigups:.
I have a basic understanding of html, but with the new stuff now, you have to know all about PHP, CSS and so on which I can't seem to understand. :frusty:Thanks,
