Display sub-category images

When I click on a category that has NO items but DOES have subcategories, then the images and names of the sub-categories are displayed on the centre area.

When I click on a category that DOES have items and also has subcategories, then the images of the sub-categories are NOT displayed on the centre area.

I would like the images of the sub-catagories always displayed (except on the home page). Is there a setting for this? I cannot find it, and YES I've searched and searched!

Thanks a lot!

That's because Zen Cart does NOT support having both products and categories at the same level.

A category can ONLY hold either subcategories OR products. Never both.

If you have your data fudged to hold both at the same level, you should be seeing warnings in your admin area, and should move those products out to their own subcategory instead.

Re: Display sub-category images

Thank you, that would explain it!

So if I move the items out of the main category, the sub-categories should display?

I guess I'll need to create an 'all products' subcategory as well as the the categories with selected items...

Re: Display sub-category images

Um, why do you think you need an "all products" category?
