Editing the order page

Hi everybody

I had a phone order today from a customer (first phone order I've had) so I created an account for them on our site and paid for their item with their credit card through the checkout the same way that they would have done for them self. Only problem is that I put the wrong email address in for them and didn't realize it until after the payment had gone through. Now I went into my Customers Tab and changed the email address there but when I go to my Orders Page, their email address is still wrong. How do I edit the email address on the orders page?

You have to change the e-mail address also in the database. Use PhpmyAdmin, look in table "orders, find the right order and edit the e-mail address, save it.

Ok thank you, is there also a way to add a second email address so that two people can receive the order status updates and how do I go about have the order status emails resent to the correct email address once I've corrected it?

go to admin> customers> edit the email address. Then you can do a 'status update" and let them know of the order status. Or, just paste the order confirmation text in that status update box.

This happens quite often. whenever an email bounces back, take a note of that person's name. something they will email you telling that they never got any emails from you. tell em they entered their email wrong.
