emailing gift certs only

hi, i only want to send out gift certificates from me the store owner.

do i need to do all the category setup procedures or just do the "modules/orders total ans install gift certificates ? then just simply mail out whatever $amount i want to ?

Gift Certificates can be done either way ...

You can have Products that are Gift Certificates or you can send Gift Certificates from the Admin ...

You do NOT have to have Products that are Gift Certificates in order to send Gift Certificates from the Admin ...

As long as you have installed the Modules ... Order Total ... Gift Certificates ot_gv ... then you should be good to go ...
