Image Rotator Swapper (Advice Needed)

If you'll notice on my site http://minu.me/2sm4 I have a flash banner of a girl that I created.
Now I'd like to have a nice rotator, movie, or swapper that would showcase our products. I really like the look of the timed image swap that is sooo popular today.

I've read that java script driven image swapping is supposedly more friendly than flash when it comes to the continuous loading of images.
My question is this:

Is there a java script mod that will provide a clean looking final product or should I just stick with flash?
I've looked at Image Swapper several times but haven't been impressed enough to try it.

Suggestions please.

I don't really use javascript, so that's the only one I am familiar with.
