10419 Express Checkout PayerID is missing.

Hi,

Just upgraded from 1.39d to 1.39e.

Already had 1 successful Paypal Express checkout, but noticed that a customer seemed to be stuck at a checkout screen and now just got an email stating:

10419 Express Checkout PayerID is missing. - Express Checkout PayerID is
missing.

I unloaded the Paypal module and reloaded it after the upgrade and as I said, 1 successful Paypal Express checkout before this message.

Any idea what happened?

Ed - Did you get this fixed?

I'm having the same error after changing from one PayPal account to another.
I changed only the following lines in Payment Module for "PayPal Express Checkout"
API Signature -- Username
API Signature -- Password
API Signature -- Signature Code
The only other active payment module is "Check/Money Order"
I also added a return URL in PayPal under Website Payment Preferences/Auto Return for Website Payments

What version of Zen Cart?

Since the problem is suddenly happening after changing PayPal accounts, I suggest asking PayPal directly about the error message, since the error message itself is rather vague. (Consider the fact that PayerID is something PayPal tells you about, and not something that your store needs to send TO PayPal in order to complete a transaction.) http://www.paypal.com/mts

In the end problem self-fixed almost instantly. Most likely after closing browser and testing again. PayerID is now showing. I've read every upgrade post since 1.3.9 came out, but panic jumped in and made me post too soon. :blush:
