Delayed payment mod via Pay Pal?

Do any Pay Pal mods or Express Checkout for Pay Pal “Website Payment Standard” have a delayed billing feature?

In other words, after the customer enters in his credit card # into pay pal, the merchant has the opportunity to charge the purchase to the card days or weeks later, once the order is shipped? For back order items?

As with any payment module, simply set it into "Authorize Only" instead of "Final Sale". You'll have to manually capture each payment though, including those that are not backordered.

I ask because all card processing will be done off site, not via ZC.

I'm a bit confused because I see the payment action option and Auth only in the Express Checkout mod but does that mod simply tell pay pal to only do Auth Only? Then in a week I log on to pay pal and run the charge?

Yes, the "Auth Only" option simply asks PayPal to pre-authorize and put a hold on the funds. You then have a week or so to capture those funds and settle the transaction, ideally when you ship the order.

One situation is such that some back orders take a month to fill. So only a week or ten days then something like that?

Is there a way for the pay pal account in question to store the card data for some orders for around a month until orders are shipped?

It's been awhile since I studied the timeframe imposed by PayPal. I'm sure you can find it on their website.
