Customer Reviews - page does nothing? 1.3.8

Hi
I am running version 1.3.8a and have activated the "write a review" button on the product pages. However when I click the buton the page refreshes but it doesn't either go to the log on page or the write a review page. I have also activated the "tell a friend" button and that works. Is there something else I need to enable?
