Barcode product field add on

Hi, I wondered if anyone has used the barcode product field add on?

I need to know whether it adjust stock level in the shopping cart when a product is scanned?

If you are in system and able to shop, you can scan the bar code and it will find the product and display it on the screen.
You can then modify the number that you want to buy and add them to the cart as you would any other product. It will deduct from stock as you check out.

But the module is limited in use at the moment. You can't use the barcode to find the item in the Admin and then adjust the stock so adding to stock is still a pain in the backside...unless someone has a great idea please.
