New zen cart user - dont know how to open includes/languages/english/header.php file

I'm a new user of zen cart and my coding and webdesign knowledge is limited so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've been trying to overcome the FAQ question below but i don't know how to open the mentioned file in a text editor please can anyone help me!

How do I change the "Sales Message Goes Here" or "Tagline Here" text?

To change the “Sales Message Goes Here” or “Tagline Here” text to say what you want open the includes/languages/english/header.php file in your text editor.

you need to download that file to your hard drive and edit it locally using a text editor.

limelites is right but if you are using the override system having a custom folder as you should the file should go in that folder, so when there is an upgrade it will not affect the original file.

I'm having a problem closely related to this.

includes/languages/english/header.php does not exist in my directory. It is the same with a handful of other files I am directed to via tutorials. I have 1.3.9h installed. Have the names or locations of these files changed in the new version?

Look again...if your shop opens correctly they have to be there

My fault. I didn't realize my new file manager displays this stuff on multiple pages...
