Rotating banners to promote my products?

does anyone know of some reliable and ways to have rotating banners which display products and specials that I want to showcase, and have links for each banner that allow the user to click out to those products. I would like this to be on my homepage but after scouring google for sometime I haven't found anyhing just yet.

Has what I think you are after or you can modify JS or jquery any slider

The built-in banner manager can do just that. You would create your own product specific banners and then link them to the individual product pages. Placing all banners into one position (eg header) causes them to rotate.

Access the banner manager via Admin > Tools > Banner Manager

I have made 2 banners for my site, however they onlyl rotate when the page is refreshed, or you access another page. I would like to have a banner that rotates with others every few seconds like this site: http://www.criticalpaintball.com/

Does anyone know how this can be done?
