Hi all. I've been searching in vane for this answer.

I am selling hats. There are several kinds, but basically most of them have a base style, and then you can choose what kind of decoration you want attached to it.

What I'd like to do is have one example of each hat on the main page. When a customer clicks on one, that hat's page would then show the style they just clicked in a main area, while also showing the other choices below it (or beside or whatever is easiest). When a customer clicks a choice below, they are then taken to that version's page, showing the connected options below as well.

The thing is that each selection is technically a different product, as each has a distinct product number. Also, different decorations are different prices. Basically, I don't just want a drop down list of decorations or radio buttons.

This is my page as of right now -

I'm using Zen Cart 1.3.8a.

Thanks SO Much for the help.

I think that you need a couple of things that are part of the standard ZenCart code....

You can have a base style with decorations as attributes + their added cost

Additional images are also builtin

This will end up all on one product page

For stock of items you might benefit from a 3rd party module -
"stock by attributes"

Don't forget to backup your files and Database FIRST!!!

Or better yet check it out on a demo/test install first

Thanks for getting back to me so fast Kobra.

I searched around a bit and I think what I want to do is kind of cross-selling. I found an add-on called "Better Together" and I hope this might work.

Thanks again though. You pointed me in the right direction!
