Have a pre-set zone appear as default in the State drop down?

Hallo,

I have configured zen-cart as follows:

Configuration -> Customer Details -> Zone -> true
Configuration -> Customer Details -> State - Always display as pulldown? -> true

Is it possible to have zen cart showing a default pre-set zone for each country instead of the "Please Select" entry or make the pulldown disappear if no zone entries are available?

admin -> configuration -> customer details -> Create Account Default Country ID

The above mentioned setting is for the country entry.

Is it possible to have something similar for the state entry?

Or, is it possible to make the state entry disappear when there are no available choices set, instead of changing from pull-down menu to an empty line?
