adding small store to existing website

Hi,

I am just about finished on the main page at http://www.leedskarateschool.co.uk , just got a couple of boxes to place for text, and I wanted to add a section with a store.

I am currently testing Zen-Cart on another site, the template works well for that site, however with this site I want to make it a bit cleaner, I just want to have a few boxes with products either in a sidebar or in main content and a cart/basket in the top corner, can this be done? Would I have to use frames, I'd rather not if there is another way to do this.

Many thanks in advance.  :smartalec:

Re: adding small store to existing website

yes this can be done. go ahead and setup zencart on this site, and you can edit your sideboxes in the admin->tools->layout boxes controller.

if you just want to show your new products on the main page, go to admin->configuration->index listing, and set the new products t 1

try to play around with it a bit, see how far you can get it to the way you want, and post back here with questions, good luck!

Just a note... Frames and Zen Cart do NOT play well together and it's not recommended to use Zen Cart with frames.
