50% off and free shipping...

Hello wondering if there is anyone else out there trying to do a % off and also checkmarking the free shipping and having the % turn into $ once free shipping is selected.

Here is what happens when I create a coupon:
I make a 50% off coupon, save it and its all good.
Then I want to offer free shipping with my 50% off coupon so I edit it and checkmark free shipping. Then save it. Upon saving it the 50% turns into $50 off and free shipping. I have tried to make it all at once as well with no luck.

is this a bug? Have all of my customers been only getting $50 off with free shipping? Uhhhggg! any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wondering if you ever figured out the solution to this issue. I have a similar problem, but cannot get my system to offer the coupon amount plus free shipping. If I check free shipping, this overrides the coupon amount and only offers free shipping - it does not combine them.

Any suggestions/insights are greatly appreciated.

Discount Coupons for a combination of Free Shipping and either the Amount or Percentage off is not yet an option in Zen Cart as of v1.3.9h ...

This will be available in an upcoming release ...
