i get this message
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log.

when i try to log into the admin page

Didi you rename your admin folder name? If yes you need to open the config files and set the correct path in them.

Hello i am getting this same message however i have not changed the admin or any folder names except for the 2 to be renamed configure.php.

My host has as part of their sever automatic install of zen-cart 1.3e and when i use that install it works. I decided to use their uninstall tool uninstall 1.3e and do a proper install of the 1.3g version. I have read and followed everything so far but get the same :

The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.

I am not sure if to just forget the most current version or if i am not doing something correctly.

there is docs file in the main folders of the install follow that procedure and you should be fine...i updgraded from f to g with no issues

i learned the hard way but before you did anything admin wise to your zen cart like playing with file names or the config files back up your store from the ftp...so you can re install back to working order if something happens

Hello i also had a problem after i installed i can see my shop front but cannot access my admin. it tells me sever 500 The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.http://www.caribbeandrinksltd.com/store/admin/

originally i could not get the instal to work and had to change the folder settings for the ZC_install folder to 777 and then it installed but before if would give the same error The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.

hi James, i did follow it and made no additional changes and still cannot access the admin login but i can see my store front saying instaltion successful. what i noticed only when i changed my zc_intall folder permissions to 777 it installed before i had the same error.
