Change price with option change???

Hey all,

I would like to have an item with three quality grades and price them accordingly.

A Grade @ 6.00 (Price changes when Drop down option is checked)
B Grade @ 5.00
C Grade @ 4.00

I have been at this for awhile (slower than the avg Joe, I know!)

I have read through Ajeh's instructions and am clueless. Also have read through multiple threads and still don't get it. Maybe a simple step by step would be the way to go if someone can point me to a particular post/thread that I have missed.I know this has to have been answered before.:lamo:

You would set the price of the product to 0.00 in the product set up screen, and set Product Priced by Attributes: to Yes.

Then create three attributes for that product with the proper names and prices:

Attributes seem a little overwhelming at first, but if you stick with it, all becomes clear.

Got the book and followed the steps (shoulda dun this in the first place, duh:blush:)

Works great! My question for anyone here . . . is thee a way to adjust quantities by attribute?

EX: for A grade I have 5 copies, B grade 2 copies, and C grade 2 copies. I need the store to track individual copies so and order is not place for something I run out of.
