Product Packages
Hello all, I'm new to zencart and I would like to thank everyone for all the great information found in these threads. I am currently trying to setup some packages for my cart. I searched but was unable to find anything. If I missed something I apologize. My stores sells packages that might contain 3 or as many as 20 different products. I know I do this by having the group setup as an individual product, but I was hoping there would be a way that I could have it update the inventory for each of the individual products as they sell (so if a package contains 1 of product A and 2 of product B, each of the inventories of those products would be reduced). This would also help make sure I don't sell packages if I don't have the inventory to support it. I was also hoping that the invoice would be able to list each and every product individually but give the package price (most packages will contain a 10-20 percent discount over individual price). If anyone knows of an easy way to do this it would be much appreciated.
