Category page - 2 questions

My category page displays the text I want, and then lists the sub-categories as links below the text - all is good, it works.

I'm sure this has been covered somewhere but after an hour or so I am darned if I can find it.

1. The sub-categories list vertically, three, a line break, then three more. Is there a way to list them in a grid or column format?

I do not want the product pages to list in a grid, just the category page with the sub-category links.

2. How do I replace the sub-category text link with a button? Replace, not add to, as including a sub-category image does.

The subcategory links display 3 to a row by default; you have commented out a rule in the stylesheet and had the side effect of disabling that./* #logo, .centerBoxContents, .specialsListBoxContents, .categoryListBoxContents, .centerBoxContentsAlsoPurch, .attribImg { float: left; } */If you want the logo not to float, remove it from the rule so the rest of the elements are still styled.```

The newest version of Image Titles (not yet available in Free Addons) includes the ability to substitute images for subcategory names in that listing. If you would like to test it, I will post a zip of the files until it is available elsewhere.

I wish I could, but I have a lot on my plate right now. If things clear up I'll revisit this thread and see if the offer is still open or needed.

Things cleared up, if you'd like me to try your Image Titles add-on, I would like to give it a try.

I'm not sure how posting attachments goes here in this forum, but if you want you can send it as a .zip attachment to my email, tx_rustler######################.

Edit: ROFL I did not realize that emails were blocked, and I suppose if I try to circumvent things I'll have a mod yelling at me too :-).

How can I change "New Product" as well as "All Products ..." everywhere in ZenCart. I want to have "New Releases" and "All Releases" instead. Thanks!!

I had to finish updating some files for v1.3.9f, and I have company now so won't have much time to post.

Nordenfor - All output text is defined in language files. Use Tools > Developers Toolkit to find the file to change. Paste the text you want to change in the bottom left box, select all files and search. Among the results will be the file and line number where it is defined. Open that file in a file/text editor and edit.
