some changes via admin not sticking

Can someone please help me. Im trying to help a friend out with her zen cart. i am doing some updates for her. im new to zencart so alot of it is greek to me. i am trying to change the max size of the category image but when i go into the images setting in the admin, when i change the size setting and hit submit it just takes me back to the admin main page. this is just ONE of the issues. i cant even add new categories, i can only edit existing one. Can someone please help me out? I tried surfing the forums but am having a hard time figuring this out. :frusty:

If changes don't stick, a first check should be if your DB and files are out of disk space. If your site and/or DB has exceeded disk space, no new data can be written to it. Can you advise if disk space is within limit on your account? Edith
