English/Japnese page- Products appear only on Japanese

Sorry if the title is a bit confusing.
What's happening is I have a shop with the choice for English or Japanese menus. (I used the Japanese Pack install). The admin page also has a the Japanese/English choice.

When I add products to my shop with easy populate, they seem to only load into the Japanese page. Even in admin, I can only see the products if I choose the Japanese option.
I didn't even think it was possible to load a product that way.

Does anyone know how I can resolve this problem? Thanks so much.

I just checked the editing panel for categories. I noticed also, that where it says "Category Name", there is a name under the Japanese heading, but I can't even enter a name in the English heading. Everytime I click save it resets it back to blank in the English box. Hmm. Curioser and curioser.
