selling my own tickets

Hi everybody,

apologize if you find this post a repetition but I haven't found any documentation about it.

I need to create a special product.** I wish to sell ticket for an event I will have in future.**

So when I have sold the ticket I wish the customer will receive an email that provide following information:

• order number
• Number of tickets the customer has bought
• instruction about how to do with the ticket (ie could be a pdf instruction procedure)

is there any way to do it with then cart?

Please if you can help me with any suggestion I will really appreciate.

Standard order email includes 1st & 2nd info
Instructions will require some alteration - if site is only for tickets and the text remains the same for any purchase it could be added to the above email

Otherwise, a custom instruction email would have to be created and mailed seperately & manually
A 3rd party module such as this one might assist

Actually, I wished to use it for several kinds of products not only tickets.

However if there is not the possibility to do it I may consider the possibility to use zen cart only for this category of products and adit the email template providing additional info.

Could you tell me which file do I need to edit in order to achieve that result?

If you have it installed look in the /email folder

But I would use ZenCart for all items and just provide the special stuff manually

Kobra I have 1500 tickets to sell.
that would means 1500 manually email to sent with special information.

I need to automate this proccess in order to give less work to my sales collegues.

If there is a way to send an email only for special product would be great. Or maybe intercept the sending mail and modify it.

I also need to send to update my crm salesforce and my email marketing software getresponse.
