XAMPP to live-server (GoDaddy) migration

https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=100

Wondering if I set up the store and configure/customize it locally with XAMPP, will I then be able to migrate/upload it to our hosting when the site is built? Is this the same as migrating from server to server as above link explains?

Will I simply install Zen Cart and set up, then export my existing local database and import it into the hosting myPHPadmin, and ftp all the "reconfigured files and images"?

Thanks for any advice.

When you click on the link you posted, and scroll to the bottom of the page, you'll see a link to a "Related Document", entitled: "Is it possible to create/build a complete Zen-Cart setup on a test server and then install on a live server? ... Yes, you can!"
