Index Page URL redirect

Hi all,
I was wondering how and where would I make the change so that if someone typed my sites url it would automatically change from "www.abc.com" to "www.abc.com/my_custom_page

If you mean you want visitors to go to a 'jump' page rather than the main Zencart page, create the page you want, name it index.html and place it in the root (top) directory of your Zencart files.

Really what I would like to do is. On the main index page I would like the Featured Products to display. "I know I can set this under the Admin/Config/index listing." When you select the featured products, special products or whatever to display on the main index page they display different then if you just bring up the page by itself. I would like to have the detail version of the featured products display on the main index page. Thanks for the help!
