form validation - email address field

Howdy All,

I would like to add additional form validation to the registration form for the email address field. I want to reject email addresses that include spaces and/or the word spam.

Our mailing list management service rejects email addresses with spaces and/or the word spam in them.

What files should I be looking at to do this? :flex:

So... You don't want to sell to these customers?

or... you want to force them to give up their email address and somehow create a new email address before they can buy from you?

or... do you consider that email addresses like this ARE mostly spam, so you don't want them as customers anyway?
