Will Zen Cart combine drop ship with onsite shipping charges?
We are trying to decide whether Zen Cart will work for us before downloading it.
We'll soon be opening our online shop and we need software that will handle a combination of both drop shipped items and products that we'll ship ourselves. The drop shipper, which supplies our media items only (books, CDs, DVDs), charges one shipping amount for the first item and a lesser amount for each additional item, with amounts varying according to shipping speed and carrier. For the products that we'll be shipping ourselves, we need to charge actual shipping costs.
Will Zen Cart calculate and combine the two shipping charges into one total while allowing the customer to choose a preferred shipping option for the whole order? Or is there an add-on that will do it?
Any help would be much appreciated!
