Category Name on Product Page

I have edited my override tpl_product_info_display.php file to remove the category image thumbnail/text from the product listing.

However, I would like to include the Category Name at the top of the product listing page, just as it appears if a category with no products were clicked.

I've tried several snippets of code found throughout the forum, but so far, I've only gotten cross-eyed...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
