Using latest PayPal Express Checkout with older version of ZenCart

In order to be more compatible with the current PayPal interface, is it possible to use the latest PayPal Express Checkout ZenCart files with an older version of ZenCart? Can I use the PayPal Express Checkout code from 1.3.9f with a 1.3.7.1 website? If so, which files do I actually use.

No. Sorry. Too many dependencies on other system files which in turn affect other sections of the code too.
