Customer email not recognized

Customer forgot password. Entered email to get temp password emailed to him. System doesn't recognize his email. checked the email. It is accurate.

???

I tried it, putting in his email...it send him a temp password.

So, it's something happening from HIS END??? He was careful to enter it all in lower case which is how we have it here. He kept trying it...nothing until I did it.

NO FREAKING CLUE

Any takers?

Re: Customer email not recognized

He cannot even get to the point of getting a temp password.

I entered his email and it sent him a temp password.

He was then, somehow, able to enter the temp password and change it.

So... sounds to me to be some sort of browser cookie related issue? Or is it a Zen Cart issue?

Re: Customer email not recognized

Zen Cart takes whatever is typed in, looks it up in the database, and reports whether there's a match.
You yourself proved that it works fine using Zen Cart.
So it would seem that the problem lies elsewhere.

Re: Customer email not recognized

True.

I had him do a control f5 too. Maybe it was some sort of browser related issue?

Thanks for your responses people... as always, appreciated.
