Customer Passwords

Hi, if a customer has forgotten his or her password how can it be retrieved? Thanks a bunch.

Well, not retrieved by the customer. How can the ADMINISTRATOR find out the password....because I need to log in as the customer because apparently they are not receiving the pay by credit card option.

ZC uses a hash algorithm for the passwords, so if you don't know the password ... you don't know it. The customer can go to your Login page and click the "Password Forgotten" link, which will send them a new password that they can use to login and subsequently change to something that they can remember.

You can also install the Encrypted Master Password mod, which will allow you to log in as any customer, using your master password.
