Attributes for drop down menus

Version 1.3.8a -
I am creating dropdown menus for attributes.

GENERAL OVERVIEW
The customer "add to cart" page allows the customer to add their own text to an image. The dropdown menus give the customer the opportunity to include choice of font, font color, etc.

DETAILS
One of the dropdown menus includes fonts available, e.g., Arial, Impact, Script, ENGRAVED, etc. Creating the dropdown is easy, but I want the fonts in the dropdown to be representive of the selection. For example, in the dropdown list, Arial would display as Arial; Impact would display as Impact, etc. - just like it does in the editor in the forum -

I tried using style sheets, and changes in the database, but can't seem to get it right. Do any of you have a solution already, or can point me in the right direction?

Thank you for your help,

jund, John Underwood

As you have no control over what fonts a customers browser has installed ( fonts are local and not delivered over the web)

The only way to insure that they see what you desire is to use images

Re: Attributes for drop down menus

kobra,
Thank you - totally forgot re: customer fonts. The simple things always "bite" us (smile). Thank you for your quick response and kind reminder.
