Godaddy - something goofy with index.php in the admin section.

v1.3f

I am trying to deploy a cart on a wordpress site that is being hosted virtually. The idea was to just add the cart as a subfolder.

I've created and themed the cart locally. When I load it up on the Godaddy server, the cart seems to work fine. However, the admin section is kinda hosed. In my examples, mysite is an alias as a virtual directory on Godaddy.

If I just try to access the admin section as http://mysite/myadmin/ I get the custom Wordpress 404 page with the following parameters in the url:

http://mysite/myadmin/HTTP_SERVER/dizm_store/dizm_admin/login.php

If I access the site as http://mysite/myadmin/login.php I get the login page as would be expected. But once I lggin, I get the same 404 custom error page.

I though it might be something about how wordpress is doing the url rewrite, but I'm not an expert at this stuff. So I included the .htaccess files.

http folder:

AddHandler x-httpd-php5 .php .htm .html
AddHandler x-httpd-php .php4

DirectoryIndex index.php index.html index.htm

Don't allow viewing of .htaccess file

<FilesMatch "^.ht">
Order allow,deny
Deny from all
Satisfy All
</FilesMatch>

http/wordpress/ folder

BEGIN WordPress

<IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule . /index.php [L] </IfModule> # END WordPress

http/wordpress/store/admin/ folder

###############################
DirectoryIndex index.php

deny everything

<FilesMatch "...">
Order Allow,Deny
Deny from all
</FilesMatch>

but now allow just certain necessary files:

<FilesMatch "(^$|^favicon.ico$|.*.(php|js|css|jpg|gif|png)$)">
Order Allow,Deny
Allow from all
</FilesMatch>

IndexIgnore /

The following makes adjustments to the SSL protocol for Internet Explorer browsers

<IfModule mod_setenvif.c> <IfDefine SSL> SetEnvIf User-Agent ".*MSIE.*" \ nokeepalive ssl-unclean-shutdown \ downgrade-1.0 force-response-1.0 </IfDefine> </IfModule>

Fix certain PHP values

#<IfModule mod_php4.c>

php_value session.use_trans_sid 0

php_value register_globals 1

#</IfModule>

to turn off register_globals

php_value register_globals 0

#turn off X-PHP-Originating-Script header when sending emails from admin
#uncomment to activate:

php_flag mail.add_x_header Off

If I install the zen-cart from godaddy, the admin section works fine. I don't want to have to go through the process of adding all of my addins, configuring them, and applying my theme. The addins have changed some things in my theme, etc. Any idea are welcome.

Re: Godaddy - something goofy with index.php in the admin section.

The problem seemed to be https configurations not set properly, even though I have https turned off for now.
