Hide "Max" Qty on Product Listing

I sell downloadable files and recently discovered that using Min 1 and Max 1 would limit the add to cart qty to 1 which makes sense for downloadable items.

Anyway my question is now that I have this set up like this, whenever I look at product listing, it shows "Max=1" on it. Is there a way to turn this off? I have looked under product type and product listing but do not see anyway to turn this off or should I say hide it.

Maybe I am just not looking hard enough??

So there is no other way to hide it except with changing the code?

There's no way I know to turn it off in admin, if that's what you're asking.
