qty discount box

Hi,
Just starting to build my first online shop and getting along fine, BUT !
There's always a but !
I have added in a "qty discount" table but i would like it to be prominent on my page

Can anyone advise me how to make the box and text larger and stand out more.

So far i have played around with the borders colour and design but i would like it to be larger in size and bigger text and possibly move it up the page.

You can tweak the way it looks through the stylesheet. How did you manage to do the blue background because I'm not seeing it in your stylesheet.

To move it up the page you have to actually move the chunk of code in that file to the appropriate spot.

Open this file: /includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_product_info_display.php

Take this chunk of code from the lower section:

Copy it. Delete it. Go up above and paste it where you want it. Personally I think it looks best right under the product price block.

Now copy the file back onto your server. But make sure to use the ovverrides and drop it here: /includes/templates/CUSTOM/templates/tpl_product_info_display.php

instead of here: /includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_product_info_display.php

Even if that means you have to make those folders. Obviously change CUSTOM to your custom template name.

Also, I would get rid of the blue thick outline. It is a bit.. jarring. People will see the table once you move it.

Thanks Lindasdd, that has worked a treat, i really appreaciate your help.

I changed the border colour in tpl_modules_produtcs_quantity_discounts.php was just playing arounding looking at how to make the table more prominent and found that adding. BORDERCOLOR=RED makes the border show a colour.

Do you know what the stylesheet is?

You should be making design changes there, not in the file you mentioned.

Let me know the answer to the above so I know where to start the answer.

The style sheet is simple_zen.

the file is stylesheet_new.css

it is located in:

Includes, languages, english, simple_zen

Not sure if that is what you mean though !

Yes...well sorta.

The Custom Template is Simple_Zen and the stylesheet is stylesheet_new.css, but in the end it is the same.

But....I'm a little stumped :yuck:

I thought this was a mere stylesheet change, but it isn't. Although you can control this section of the page with the stylesheet, you can't control it as specifically as needed. So I've been attempting to add extra div's / classes (the parts that the stylesheet controls) to the needed file, but they don't seem to be taking. So I'm playing around with it.

for now though, the fact that you have moved it up on the page makes it more than noticeable.

Does anyone know how i can display my lowest / best price on all pages instead of my highest price for single items.

I guess the cart is set to display the price starting at 1 item but i want it in reverse.
