Changing Gross & Net Price for Tax

When I set up my store I didn't need to have tax on my items as my sales were under a certain amount.

Now I need to add tax.

All of my gross and net prices are exactly the same so I need to change the net so that 10% tax is built into the already listed gross price.

Is there an easy way to do this or do I just have to edit every individual product? There are 3000 so I hope not!

No need to panic, just define your tax class and rates, and apply it to the taxable products.
Zencart only stores the net prices, with the taxable prices calculated as needed.

Running an SQL command like:
update products set products_tax_class_id = 1 ;

Will apply the tax class with the ID of '1' to all of your products in one go.
This may or may not be what you want.

Cheers
