ZenCart uses decimal point in gift voucher amount

Using currency EUR (with decimal comma) and it works ok - prices are displayed as specified, BUT in checkout sequence (2/3) when allowing gift voucher amount it suddenly requires a decimal point to be used! V1.3.9e.

Somehow I missed it - it seems to use decimal point throughout the shop....
